Steps to make Totoro Roll Bread:
- Put all the bread dough ingredients into your bread machine. Start the "bread dough" course.
- Cookie dough: Bring butter to room temperature and mix with sugar. Add cake flour and beaten eggs. Mix well.
- You can adjust the hardness of the cookie dough with the beaten eggs. Put the dough in a plastic bag and roll it out thinly using a rolling pin. Rest it in a refrigerator.
- When the bread dough is ready, make 12 round ones weighing 30 g each. Leftover dough can be used for ears. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and rest it for 15 minutes.
- Forming: Here you can add a small amount of filling if you like. Make the dough into a shape of Totoro. Softly press the dough from the top using your palm and make it a bit flat.
- For ears, tear off dough from the leftover dough and put them on the body. Press them firmly onto the body so they don't come off.
- Let dough rise a second time in an oven for 20 minutes at 40℃.
- While the dough is rising, cut the plastic bag with cookie dough, take the dought out and cut out round shapes. 5cm circles are the best. I used the bottom of a cup that was just the right size.
- After the second rising is done, preheat the oven to 180℃ / 350℉. In the meantime, put the cookie dough on Totoro's stomach and brush beaten eggs on bread dough.
- Bake them for 15 minutes at 180℃ / 350℉.
- Draw Totoro's face using a chocolate decorating pen. Draw big eyes with white chocolate. While waiting for them to dry, draw the nose, whiskers, and a pattern on stomach. Draw the black eyes last.
- Done! Good job!
- They look so cute together.
- They make great presents too.
- Piyochan mama arranged it into Doraemon version. Everybody give it a try, they are really cute.

Try Using Food to Improve Your Mood
A lot of us believe that comfort foods are bad for us and that we ought to keep away from them. At times, if your comfort food is basically candy or other junk foods, this holds true. Other times, however, comfort foods can be totally nourishing and it’s good for you to eat them. There are several foods that, when you consume them, can boost your mood. If you seem to feel a little bit down and need a happiness pick me up, try some of these.
Eggs, you may be astonished to learn, are fantastic at battling depression. Just make sure that you don’t throw away the egg yolk. Every time you wish to cheer yourself up, the egg yolk is the most vital part of the egg. Eggs, especially the yolks, are full of B vitamins. The B vitamin family can be terrific for elevating your mood. This is because they help your neural transmitters–the parts of your brain that affect your mood–function better. Eat an egg and feel a lot better!
Make a trail mixfrom different seeds and nuts. Your mood can be elevated by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and other types of nuts. This is because seeds and nuts have plenty of magnesium which raises your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical substance that tells the brain how to feel at any given point in time. The higher your serotonin levels, the more pleasant you will feel. Not just that, nuts, particularly, are a great protein source.
If you wish to overcome depression, you should eat some cold water fish. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are rich in DHA and omega-3s. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that improve the quality and the function of your brain’s gray matter. It’s the truth: eating tuna fish sandwiches can really help you overcome your depression.
Some grains are truly great for driving away bad moods. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all wonderful for helping you feel happier. These grains fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods also. Feeling starved can really make you feel terrible! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult for your stomach to digest. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps raise your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, elevates your mood.
Green tea is truly good for your mood. You were sure it had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is high in a specific amino acid called L-theanine. Research has found that this amino acid induces the production of brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while at the same time relaxing the rest of your body.
